Linktree is a flexible link in bio for anyone, with pre-saves, a store and lots of integrations. Loud is only for musicians: it builds your link in bio and a full website from your music, and updates both on its own when it finds a new release.

We make Loud. Everything about Linktree here comes from its pricing page, and we say plainly where it does more. Prices checked October 2026.

What does Linktree do better?

From its pricing page:

  • Pre-saves. Linktree creates pre-saves on Spotify, Apple Music and 60+ platforms, on every plan. Loud can't create them; it only shows the link your distributor gives you, like DistroKid's HyperFollow.
  • Selling. Digital products, courses, a merch shop, and Shopify, Spring and Bonfire stores. Pro says "Sell and earn with 0% fees", with a US$0.25 fee per payout and possible processing fees. Loud doesn't sell anything.
  • Integrations. Bandsintown, Calendly, Typeform, Mailchimp, Kit, Klaviyo, Google Analytics and more.
  • Stats. Streaming insights on paid plans, where visitors come from on Pro and Premium, and all-time stats and data export on Premium.
  • Design freedom. Video backgrounds, header layouts, button and font styles. Loud gives you a set of designs.
  • Track record. Over 70 million users, it says. Loud started in October 2026.

What does Loud do better?

  • It builds itself. Search one of your songs and confirm it's you. Loud makes your link in bio and a website with your releases, covers, videos and shows. On Linktree you add your links yourself.
  • It stays up to date. Every day Loud checks for new music and YouTube videos. When it finds a new release, it lands on your link in bio, your website and its own song page without you lifting a finger.
  • A website, not just a page of links. yourname.stayloud.co has your music, videos, shows, fan sign-up and contact. stayloud.co/yourname goes in your bio. Both use the same info.
  • Fan emails built in. Fans leave their email and city, and you write to them from Loud, by city. Linktree collects emails and sends them to other email tools; its pricing page doesn't list sending emails itself.

How much does each cost?

Loud: building your page is free, and publishing starts 14 free days. Pro is US$4 a month billed yearly (US$48) or US$5 monthly. Tour is US$12 a month billed yearly (US$144) or US$15 monthly, and adds up to 3 team members.

Linktree: four plans, Free, Starter, Pro and Premium, cheaper per month if you pay yearly. Its pricing page shows prices in your currency and they change by country, so check yours there. Starter adds unlimited featured links and basic stats. Pro removes the Linktree branding and adds custom designs, mailing list integrations and selling with 0% fees. Premium adds link rules, all-time stats and data export. Pro and Premium have a 7 day free trial. Free gives you unlimited basic links, email and phone sign-ups, pre-saves and a QR code, with Linktree branding.

Which one should you choose?

Choose Linktree if

  • You run pre-save campaigns and want them inside your link.
  • You sell merch, digital products or courses.
  • You rely on integrations like Bandsintown, Shopify, Mailchimp or Google Analytics.
  • Your first song isn't out yet, or you also promote a podcast or a business.

Choose Loud if

  • You don't have a website and want one without building it.
  • You're tired of updating links after every release.
  • You want a page for each song, made for you.
  • Your music is out and you'd rather not build or update pages yourself.

Before you choose Loud

You need at least one song out on streaming. Fan sign-up, contact info and fan emails stay off until you confirm the page is yours, usually by sending a code from your Instagram. Loud doesn't sell merch or tickets (the Tickets button sends fans to your ticket seller) and doesn't create pre-saves. It's new, so expect it to change.

Can I use both?

Yes. You can keep Linktree for selling and add a link to your Loud website there, or the other way around. If you want one main link in your bio (what to put in it), choose the one that does your main job. If you go with Loud, here's how to switch from Linktree without losing your fan list.

FAQ

Is Loud free?

Building your page is free. Publishing starts a 14 day free trial, then Pro is US$5 a month: website, link in bio, fan sign-up, every design and your own domain.

Does Linktree have pre-saves?

Yes, on Spotify, Apple Music and 60+ platforms. Loud doesn't create pre-saves; it shows the one from your distributor.

Yes. It checks for new music and videos every day. A new release shows up on your link in bio and website, with its own page, without you doing anything.

Can I sell merch with Loud?

No. Linktree has a shop and store integrations. Bandzoogle sells music, merch and tickets from your own website.

Can I use my own domain?

On Loud Pro and Tour, yes, with a domain you buy yourself. Linktree's pricing page doesn't list it.

Do I need Spotify to use Loud?

You need your music out on streaming: at least one released song. You start by searching one of your songs, and Loud builds your pages from your music. If your first song isn't out yet, a tool that doesn't need it, like Linktree, may fit better for now.

Your website and link in bio, built from your music.

You make the music. Loud builds both from your songs, keeps them up to date with every release, and gathers your fans so you can write to them directly.
